EnDev is working to create its own assessment concept for cooking energy systems based on proxy indicators which can be easily verified in the field. This cooking energy system approach will consider two major components when assessing the quality of a system. The first part assesses the “quality” of a cooking energy system from the perspective of the user. The second part, which has not yet been developed, will focus on the climate relevance of cooking.
