42 Organizations Sign the Empowering Access Pledge
42 organizations commit to establishing, maintaining, or advancing the practice of gender mainstreaming in their work.
Last month, the Efficiency for Access Coalition celebrated the conclusion of the Appliances Empower campaign, our longest and most successful communications campaign to-date. The campaign consisted of a global effort to develop deep linkages between energy access, gender equality and social inclusion.
As part of the campaign, the Efficiency for Access Coalition invited members of the energy access community to signal their commitment to establishing, maintaining, or advancing gender mainstreaming within their work. We are happy to share that 42 organizations joined us in signing this Empowering Access Pledge!
We would like to offer a sincere thank you to all of the participating organizations featured below. We look forward to working alongside you to champion the role of women in advancing energy access efforts.
Make sure to check out the Efficiency for Access Medium blog in the coming months to learn more about how the pledge participants are integrating a gender lens into their organizational culture and process.
